NVus World
If anyone wants to experiment with us on a Minecraft Forge server...
Quick Overview
Creates a very diverse world for Minecraft. Full of plenty of Vanilla+ like features. Including 100's of new mob types. 80+ new biome types. Butchering & farming mechanics. Variations of mine shafts, dungeons, fortresses, caves, vein mining, easy building gadgets and so much more!
If using for multiplayer/server you do not want to upload the following mods within this pack to the server:
Mouse Tweaks
Night Vision
Occulus
These are clientside only mods and although Forge supposedly checks if mods are clientside only it sometimes doesn't work the best! So avoid uploading the above mods to the servers mod folder.
Server Specs
Our NVus World server is running on Minecraft 1.20.1 and compatible Forge. We also use Velocity as a proxy server. So we can add more Forge servers in the future! We also provide a descent 32x resource pack for the server as well! Look for it in Options > Resource Packs if it's not already activated by default once you're setup!
You don't need to worry about any of this info though as we'll cover how to easily import our pre-setup mod pack and get you connected easily below!
Easy Setup
The provided modpack has all the needed mods pre-setup for you. Just install the modpack into CurseForge (details below in "How To Setup & Connect") and it'll auto download all the files needed for you! To see the full list of mods please see Mods In NVus World section at the bottom of this page!
How To Setup & Connect
The easiest method right now is to download Curseforge mod loader. You can download it here. (Choose Overwolf or Standalone. This is your choice if you want Overwolf or not. It's not required!) Our modpack has now been officially added to CurseForge! You can install it from this page by clicking here.
1. Install our official modpack
2. It'll Download Everything Needed
3. Click Play
Once everything finishes downloading click the play button! This will launch the Minecraft launcher in a contained instance and will have Minecraft Forget selected as the version! Once the launcher opens simply click on play to launch Forge! Optionally you can right click on the modpack and change the profile options ie uncheck Use System Memory and manually set the maximum amount of memory the instance of Minecraft Forge will use (defaults to only 4GB RAM).
4. Connect & "Profit"!
If the server is not already listed and setup then you can simply add it manually: Forge.FNGnation.net
